The Club
Newent Association for the
Disabled was founded to fulfill a need to enable physically disabled and
frail older people to meet and socialise.
The Association was opened officially in 1982 by HRH
Princess Anne at the Community Centre and fund-raising took place in
various guises, to improve facilities with access ramps and lifts.
